Bobrovec
Bobrovec (634 a.s.l) is a nice and calm village near Liptovsky Mikulas, belonging to the oldest villiges in Liptov. Over the mountain hotel there spreads a cragged relief called Mnich /MONK/ ( 1 460 a.s.l.) which is rich in rare types of lime-loving flora. Nature reservation.

The largest aquapark in Slovakia, aquapark Tatralandia is the center of water relax and fun. At your disposal there are pools, that offer you many relax attractions – water massages, spouts, springs, water swing, streams, climbing wall with waterfall and children´s slides. Colourful toboggans of different shapes, lenght and difficulties. Liptovský Mikuláš
Liptovsky Mikulas is a famous and very often visited town by tourists. This town offers you a lot of cultural-historical monuments so you can get to know the history of this region. Here you can find St. Nicoulas Church, Janko Kráľ museum, Slovak Museum Of Nature Protection And Speleogy, P.M.Bohun gallery, a synagoge. Apart from these attractions there are several stylish restaurants, pizzerias, caffes, confectioneries, bars and night clubs in the town centre.
Demänovska Cave of Freedom
It is the most attractive and well known carst cave in Slovakia. It has an interesting system of halls that are connected with one another and is rich in small lakes. The pink hall with its 6 m high waterfall is spectacular. The underground river Demänovka flows through the cave. The length of the cave is 8 126 m, the whole accessible route is 1800 m long.
Demänovska ice cave
In the 18-th century it was known like a dragon´s cave according to the bear bones that were found in the cave. In the lower parts of this ice cave there are beautiful waterfalls. The most attractive ones are in the Kmetov hall. The lenght of the cave is1 750 m, the accessible touristic trail is 850 m long. The air temperature is about 0 till 5 C.
Liptovský Ján
The village Liptovsky Jan is a famous and often sought-after places with pools and thermal water. Here you can find an areal of summer thermal swimming pools, an indoor pool, a 50 m pool, 2 children´s pools, 1 idle pool. The thermal water has obvious healing effects. From the village there are very good possibilities of tourism to the marvellous Janska valley.
Vlkolínec
A folk architecture monument reservation in Vlkolinec is registered in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Svätý Kríž
The village Sväty Kriz is located near the water reservoir Liptovska Mara and the town of Liptovsky Mikulas. Sväty Kriz is a famous for its wooden articulate church that belongs to the largest wooden churches in Europe. It was removed here from the overflown village Paludza during the building of Liptovska Mara in the years 1974-1982. In the year 1774 the church was rebuilt by Joseph Lang, the carpenter master, who could not read and write, without using any projects within 8 months into a present shape. The seating capacity of the church is up to 600 persons.
Sports in Liptov
Hiking
For lovers of tourism the region Liptov offers lots of marked touristic routes and biking trails. The Prosiecka and Kvacianska valleys are very beautiful. Right from the hotel you can begin a tour to the cottage called Chata pod Cervencom, then to the mountains Babky or Sivy vrch and to the cragged relief Mnich or to Rohace.
Down-hill skiing
In the region Liptov you can find the most ski-lifts and downhill-runs in Slovakia. Among the most famous ski resorts belongs Jasna - Low Tatras that is only 19 km far from the hotel. The next famous ski resort is called Ski Park Ruzomberok. Not far from here there are the High Tatras and Strbske Pleso.
Mountain cycling
To get to know the marvellous nature in the Tatras try to ride a mountain bike. Choose your route according to your abilities and physical condition. It is sure to be a pleasant trip with your family or friends. We will gladly recommend you the cyclotouristic routes. You need not carry any bikes, there is a mountain bike rental in the hotel.
Rafting
You can try and enjoy a modern sport called rafting on the river Bela, the Vah or in the areal of water slalom in Liptovsky Mikulas. It is a sport when you forget your everyday troubles, try your abilities by overrunning of water barriers, jumps and tongue. Rafting is suitable as for families with children so for groups and also for experienced rafters according to the route difficulty.
Paragliding
The Low Tatras are the ideal place for one of the most famous and adrenalin sports, paragliding. So try the magic of flying with a beautiful view. You can take a flight with an instructor for 30 minutes with the minimum camber of 600 m. It is an unforgettable experience.
Liptovská Mara
The water reservoir Liptovska Mara is with its hight of 45 m the second biggest bulk dam in Slovakia. It offers a wide range of water sports, e.g. swimming, surfing, yachting, boating, fishing. During the summer season from the autocamping Liptovsky Trnovec there runs a barge with the seating capacity of 80 places.
